• Seeing that Wyatt and Mac were about to disappear from her sight, Ava quickly registered what he had said and trotted after them.
• By the time Wyatt's car pulled up to the driveway, Harper had said her farewells to Jaylani and sent her off. She was just about to return to her room when she saw it drive up quickly, braking aggressively at the last second. With a loud screech, the car stopped right in front of her.
