Chapter 23

• Harper and Wyatt drove for a few hours and finally arrived at the festival site in the evening. As per tradition, this year's festival was set at the top of Main Hill, where the River Bed Pack and the Silver Moon Pack normally met. Standing at the foot of the hill, Harper could see that the castle at the top of the hill was already lit. Torches were set ablaze on both sides of the road up the hill, winding like a bright galaxy from the foot to the top of the hill.
• They arrived when the sun was beginning to set, and the fire from the torches danced underneath the golden sky. The castle spires looked like beacons that glinted in the sunlight.
• Harper drew a sharp breath. It was her first time on Luna Hill. According to legend, it was the place closest to the Moon Goddess, and Harper felt as if her body brimmed with energy. A warm feeling coursed through her veins as she gazed at the scene unfolding around her. Fireworks bloomed in the sky, their light reflecting off of the numerous cars parked at the foot of the hill. It seemed that many Alphas and their Lunas had already arrived.
