Chapter 55 - Backfired!

• My plan backfired.
• I expected Alex to be furious, cause a scene, immediately reject me, and leave me behind in my pack. However, I was disappointed. On the other hand, he came right into the game. What I failed to realize was that jealousy is only caused by love. However, Alex doesn't actually love me; he merely views me as someone who fulfills duties as mate and Luna.
• Oh gosh, I'm even further behind than before. In fact, it seemed that Alex was quite pleased to share me with Elyon and appeared to enjoy the situation. Nervously glancing toward my parents, I noticed they hadn't picked up on our absence either. They probably assumed we were talking about pack business and chose not to interrupt us.
