Chapter 235 Goodbye Charles

• Emily woke up first still entangled with Charles. The room was still smelled with the scent of after sex. Until this morning, she still could not believe that Charles and she did the impossible if not only her body was in real pain. Charles didn’t stop until morning. Like he didn’t give her rest. One and another. He just stopped when the sunset appeared and she just had only an hour of sleep if she wasn’t mistaken. They did more than 10 rounds and Charles seemed so much of energy. She didn’t even know when did he stop or maybe he stopped because she collapsed. Charles was a beast causing the all the pain in her body. Even a very light of movement, she did feel the pain.
• She gazed at him with a tenderness that almost frightened her. If he opened his eyes, she would lose the chance to admire him so intently. She like this kind of view in the morning. If only they could be a real couple. But that was a dream she had long accepted as impossible.
• Last night, she feared Charles would cast her out. Resentment had burned inside her, a desperate urge to punish those who had stripped her of dignity. That bitterness had driven her to thoughts of vengeance. She wanted them to know she was not a pushover. She would not fall without a fight.
