Chapter 14 – A Real Proposal

• The crowd of reporters gasped as Serena dropped to one knee on the steps of her company headquarters. The flashing lights were brighter than ever, but this time, I didn't care. I looked down at her, seeing only the woman who had faced her entire board of directors just to keep me safe.
• 'Yes, Serena,' I said clearly, tears streaming down my face. 'Yes, I will marry you.'
