• The fourth night
• After a troubled night at the club and the strange encounter with the beast on the road, Allyson finally arrived home. The silence in her small apartment seemed heavier than usual. She threw her keys on the living room table, kicked off her shoes and went straight to the bathroom. The hot water of the shower did little to calm her nerves. The images of the black wolf, with those piercing, glowing eyes, kept haunting her.
• Dressed in comfortable pyjamas, Allyson sat on the sofa with her laptop on her lap, determined to find some logical explanation for what had happened.
