• In the morning, the sun streamed through the curtains of Peter Fletcher's bedroom, tinting the room with a soft golden light. Allyson stirred slowly in bed, still trapped in her dream world, but the irresistible aroma of fresh coffee, buttery croissants and ripe fruit began to awaken her.
• Peter entered the room carrying an elegantly set up tray. On it, a steaming cup of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a plate of precisely cut fruit, and golden croissants that exuded an irresistible aroma. He had decorated the tray with a small white flower, simple but touching.
