• Victoria stared blankly for a moment before raising her eyebrows and asking, "How did you know?"
• "I just asked him, Daddy said he hasn't eaten yet, Mommy, hurry up and cook something for Daddy! He'll be starving." The little fellow said worriedly.
• Victoria had thought that Roderick had already gone somewhere to eat his expensive meal. She hadn't thought that he would stay in his room and not go out. It was almost nine- thirty now. Wasn't he hungry?
