- "Give me your phone." It was impossible for Roderick to say his phone number in public.
- Victoria somewhat unhappily handed over the phone in front of him. Roderick took it and entered his private cell phone number to hand it back to her.
- Victoria let out a sigh as she watched Roderick pick up her son's departing car from the school gate. Victoria exhaled and called Betty. Tonight, she and Betty had to go out for a meal.
