• Valerie's POV
• I try to remember anything, but my mind is a complete blank. My head is pounding, and I feel like I've been running for days, but my legs won't move. I'm so tired, so exhausted.
• I lie back on the bed, trying to calm my racing thoughts. But every time I close my eyes, I see flashes of images I can't explain. A forest, a pack of wolves, a figure standing over me. Who is that man? And why do I feel like I know him?
