• Valerie's POV
• I walked beside Rohan, my heart racing with excitement and a hint of fear. We were finally going to find the children, and I couldn't wait to see them safe and sound. The tracker had led us to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town, and Rohan had insisted on coming with me.
• As we approached the building, Rohan's hand brushed against mine, sending a spark of electricity through my body. He didn't pull away, instead, he intertwined his fingers with mine, giving my hand a gentle squeeze.
