Chapter 3 No Escape
- Using the wall for support, Leah slowly lowered herself onto the toilet seat. As she relieved her bladder, a sharp pain shot through her, forcing a wince past her lips.
- "Ahhh..." she whimpered. The ache in her sore and bruised vagina was unbearable, the lingering traces of the lustful brutality.
- After that, bushing her teeth, Leah stood under the shower. She turned on the water, letting the warmth cascade over her battered skin. It was comforting, but her legs felt weak to keep standing.
- With a quiet sigh, Leah sank onto the cold floor, wrapping her arms around her knees as the warm water poured down freely through her body.
- Leah stepped out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel. The cold air hit her bare skin, making her shiver.
- She grabbed a sweatshirt and sweatpants from the closet and threw them on, trying to cover as much of herself as she could because she was disgusted with the marks on her body. Leah loathed her body to the core as this good for nothing body made her prey of brutal lust.
- As she looked around the closet, it was as usual full of expensive dresses, the kind any other girl would dream of owning. But Leah didn’t care about any of it. She was surrounded by wealth, but it all felt like a cage, trapping her in something she couldn’t escape.
- The men who owned her had taken something much more valuable than anything money could buy...
- Her dignity.
- She was their doll and they used her however they wanted, taking everything she had. And Leah couldn’t stop them. She was just empty now. There was nothing left to hope for. No dreams, no wishes.
- Sighing heavily, Leah stepped out of the closet and found Tessa had already tidied her messy bedroom, just like every other day.
- Her eyes then landed on the porridge sitting on the table near the couch. The smell made her stomach growl loudly. After all the endless torment, her hunger took over her mind. Without thinking, she rushed over to the table and began shoveling spoonfuls of porridge into her mouth, even though she hated this bland, repetitive food.
- Her appetite was too strong to care about the taste. But as Leah shoved another spoonful into her mouth, she suddenly started choking as the food caught in her throat. She coughed hard, struggling to breathe.
- Tessa rushed toward her, holding a glass of water. "Relax, Leah…" she murmured, gently caressing her back.
- Leah took the water from Tessa and gulped it down, trying to calm the tightness in her throat.
- As Leah calmed down, she felt her face flush with embarrassment, realizing how desperately she had been eating, and now she’d nearly choked in front of Tessa. Leah wiped her mouth quickly, feeling self-conscious. And then she finished the rest of the porridge more slowly, carefully taking one bite at a time.
- Once she finished, Tessa stepped forward, holding out an envelope. Leah frowned in confusion, her gaze flicking between the envelope and Tessa. She didn’t understand what it was, and then panic set in.
- "Wh... What is this?" Leah stammered, trying to push the envelope away from her face. "Who sent it?"
- Tessa noticed the panic in Leah’s eyes and quickly moved to calm her. "It’s okay, Leah. You don’t need to worry. It's from Master Miguel."
- But Leah’s anxiety only grew. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise.
- "Wh...Why is he giving me a letter?" she asked, her voice full of fear. Leah thought it might be another trick from Miguel to punish her.
- "I don’t know the reason exactly," Tessa said gently. "But this morning, both Sir Miguel and Ander rushed out of the house in a hurry, and they left the letter for you."
- Leah’s panic didn’t let up. "And... what did they say?"
- Tessa hesitated for a moment before answering, “They said they’ll be away from home for a few days."
- Leah froze. Miguel and Ander left a few days? Her mind went blank for a moment, the shock sinking in. She couldn’t understand it. Why would they leave now? What were they planning? She stared at the letter in Tessa's hands, unsure of what to do.
- Leah sat there, battling with her thoughts for a while before finally accepting the letter from Tessa. Her fingers trembled slightly as she ripped it open and unfolded the paper. Taking a deep breath, she started reading.
- My sweet Leah,
- I wish I could tell you this in person, but I know Ander was too hard on you last night. We will be out of Spain for a few days. Don’t try to escape or pull any stunt. You know what the consequences will be. In the end, you can’t run away from us.
- And it’s a bit risky to talk over the phone, otherwise, I would love to hear your sweet voice. Be a good girl and wait for the day when I return and fuck.…
- Leah didn’t finish reading. Her stomach twisted in disgust as she scrambled the letter in her hands and threw it away like it burned her. Her face contorted with pure hatred.
- Even when they weren’t around, they still found a way to torment her. She felt like no matter what happened, they would never let her go... not even in death.
- They had made sure she had nowhere to run, no one to turn to. And yet, they still loved to remind her of how helpless she was, how trapped she would always be. It was like they enjoyed seeing her miserable.
- But at least… they were gone. For a few days, she wouldn’t have to see them, hear them, or feel their filthy hands on her. Her body could finally rest. For a moment, that thought gave her the tiniest bit of relief.
- Then reality hit her again. They would come back. And when they did, it would all start again. There was no escape. This would go on until death took her because no one would ever dare to save her from these monsters.
- "Leah, is something wrong?" Tessa’s voice pulled her out of her thoughts. Leah had gone completely silent, staring at the floor.
- She shook her head. There was no point in talking about them. She just felt… miserable.
- As Leah was still in terrible pain, she looked at Tessa and quietly asked, “Can you excuse me? I just need to rest for a while.”
- Tessa gave her a small nod before leaving the room. As soon as she was gone, Leah lay down, pulling the comforter over her aching body. Within minutes, she drifted off into sleep again.
- But suddenly, a loud noise shattered the silence.
- Bang! Bang! Gunshots echoed through the air. Leah’s eyes flew open, hearing the sound.
- "Leah… We are under attack! We need to leave!" Tessa’s panicked voice filled the room as she ran in and yanked the comforter off Leah’s body.
- Leah blinked, still half-asleep, her mind struggling to catch up with what was happening. Everything felt blurry, her body still heavy from sleep. But the moment she processed Tessa’s words, panic flooded her veins.
- "Leah, hurry! You have to get out of here!" Tessa urged, trying to pull her out of bed.
- But it was already too late.
- Four tall men, dressed in black suits and wearing masks, barged into the room. They were carrying heavy guns and their presence sending chills down Leah’s spine.
- "Hands up and surrender..." one of them barked.
- Tessa immediately stepped in front of Leah, shielding her. Her hands trembled as she held them together in a desperate plea.
- "Please… Don’t hurt us! I’m just a maid, and she’s Leah. Neither of us knows anything. Both of the men of this house are out of the country. Please… spare our lives."
- The man who had spoken earlier didn’t pay any heed to her pleading. He grabbed Tessa by the arm and shoved her aside, revealing Leah, who sat frozen in fear. Her entire body trembled as she stared at the men.
- Was this the end? Was this how she was going to die?
- One of the men took a step closer, his eyes narrowing as he studied her. Then, a cruel smirk spread across his face.
- “Oh… So this is the infamous daughter of Miguel,” he said with amusement.
- Leah’s stomach twisted.
- "Let’s take this little kitten with us," another man suggested, stepping forward.
- Leah’s eyes widened in pure terror. She knew exactly what that meant. Her nightmare wasn’t over. She was just being taken to another hell.
- They would undoubtedly use and abuse her until she was broken all over again.
