• Damian’s eyes snapped toward her immediately. The maid was staring at him with wide eyes, clearly shocked. But the moment she saw him look, she quickly bowed her head and mumbled an apology before stepping back.
• Damian rolled his eyes.
• He expected this kind of reaction from the servants. A lot of them had seen him grow up from a young age. They all knew his nature. They knew how cold he was..
