• The door opened, and I stepped outside, slowly making my way to the landing. I never knew that there was a corridor that led to the grand hall from the imperial quarters till the guard led me in through it.
• The party was already in full swing and the emperor had entered ten minutes ago. Ten minutes; I had been keeping tabs and heard when his presence was announced. The grand hall was gigantic, divided into two floors. Opposite the landing where I stood was the upstair part of the hall where many alphas and Lunas were seated. A barricade separated where I was currently standing, which was connected to the imperial quarters, from the upstair part of the hall. The grand hall was big enough to seat at least eight hundred people comfortably.
