This was the first day I was stepping out of my room after that bitch made Richard punish me. I noticed the weird looks I received from servants, and I could see them covering their mouths and whispering. Their low giggles and side glances made it obvious that they were gossiping about me. Probably mocking me for getting punished and losing lots of privileges.
I clenched my fists, my eyes as cold as ice, forcing myself to keep going instead of reminding them of who the boss was. I didn't have any guard with me at the moment, and if I encountered a crazy one, I might get attacked. Although they would get punished afterwards, the damage would have already been done.
