• I quickly accepted the reins from a servant who had thoughtfully brought out a horse when he saw me rushing out after the alarm went off. This was one thing about the servants around me. They were trained to be very sensible and helpful. I didn't need to tell them before they did the right thing, almost as if they could read my thoughts.
