• EMPEROR RICHARD'S POV
• Before I could rush the physician to tear his mouth apart, he raised his hands up in surrender, barely holding back his laughter. The glee on his face had me freezing as I immediately realized I was acting like a very jealous lover-boy. He was a doctor, I'm being irrational by getting angry. Besides, he's already an old man.
• "Calm down, I'm not stealing your wife or doing anything inappropriate with her. It's a necessity, she needs to bathe in warm herbs and Annalise is too weak to comfortably move her", he explained calmly. The knowing smile on his face pissed me off greatly.
