Chapter 54 “Dony, Are You Okay?”

• One week, two weeks and now three, the feeling of being watched plagued him. Donovan couldn’t tell whether his mind was playing tricks on him.
• The engine of his car purred as he made a way into the underground parking lot. He jumped out of his car almost immediately as his eye caught a not so distant shadow. It had now been happening too often. He would see faint shadows around and when he went in to see what it was, there would be nothing but emptiness and absolute silence.
• What was this new sinking feeling? He had always had confidence, but lately it seemed like everything was going to shit. Who could he trust?
