• A new day it was, and Zara was set to start her journey, she had prepared that morning like she was going out on a regular outing, not letting her parents know the real place where she intended to go. Deen had driven from the city and was outside waiting for Zara, as he was to accompany her to where she wanted to go. Not that she didn’t trust anyone else, she just thought he was the best person who could come to her aid, assisting her with a ride to where she wanted, and would always protect her.
• “Mom, I'll be back later in the day. I have something important to do," she tells her mom as she walks out of the house, dressed casually, her hair tied in a bun, holding a big tote bag that holds her phone, the letter, and the pendant.
