- Stepping into the room, Zara halted in her steps as she took in what was before her. Lots of canvases leaned against every surface, like the place, most of them fully painted, with wild and sweeping paintings of different forests under realistic silver-looking paintings, mountains that were crowned with mists, creatures that looked paranormal and not ordinary yet seemed almost human, and amidst all these paintings and drawings were both fully painted and not completed paintings of Zara. This was not just a resemblance to her, but her in a painted form, in charcoal, her captured in intimacy, an intimacy that made her ski pinch.
- Her heart hammered as she staggered back a bit, taking in what she had just seen.
