Chapter 23

• “Wilder, are you okay?” Tiana’s voice broke Wilder’s sleep a few minutes later.
• “Fell asleep,” murmured Wilder, blinking at her and glancing around the room. The clock said over an hour had passed. He was leaning back against the couch with his laptop still in his lap, hands resting on the keyboard.
• “You don’t look right,” sighed Tiana, picking the laptop up and setting it aside. She sat at the edge of the couch, reaching up to slide her hand over Wilder’s shoulder. “Lay down.”
