Chapter 11

• Fergus was punctual, arriving ten minutes before he was supposed to, ready to work. He showed up in jeans, a dark red t-shirt featuring an indie rock band, and work boots. His hair was neatly combed back, and his face was freshly shaven, except for a small strip of hair on his chin.
• “Good morning, Madam Tiana!” Fergus nervously greeted her, walking past Wilder into the house. “You look pretty this morning!”
• “Thank you, Fergus.” Tiana smiled in return.
