• “Fairies?” Melody looked Tiana up and down and snort laughed. “Fairies?” Then she broke into full laughter, squinting at Galaxa clinging to Fergus.
• “I’m not joking, Mom, they are fairies,” Wilder grumbled. “I wanted you to know. Tiana healed me.”
• “Your father told me there were fairies in the woods nearby, but I always thought he was joking.” Melody ran a wrinkled hand over her eyes, smiling. “He put that notion into your head.”
