Chapter 11: She's Beautiful

• Miracle strolled through the garden behind the house. Every once in a while, she paused and checked that the pain in her foot was no longer there. For the past three days, she had been practicing walking and no longer relied on a wheelchair. Luckily, the recovery of her leg was much faster than the doctor had predicted. At least she was more mobile now and didn’t need the maids’ help anymore.
• “Ma’am.” A maid stepped closer to her.
• “What is it?” Miracle averted her gaze and looked at the maid standing before her.
