Chapter 10: Dinner Invitation

• Mateo took a long drag from his cigarette and exhaled the smoke slowly into the air. The sharp buzz of the intercom interrupted his moment of silence. His eyes shifted toward the device, irritation flashing across his face. He hated being disturbed while resting.
• With an annoyed expression, he pressed the green button. “Why are you bothering me?” he asked coldly.
• “Sorry, sir. I just wanted to inform you that Mr. Arsen is here to see you,” Gustav said from the other end.
