Chapter 36 Hotel Raid

• Lewis Snow had been buried in the Astral codex lately. Thanks to that water-drop thing wrapped around the bug in his acupuncture point, every new session pushed it further. The drop used to be the size of a bean; now it was nearly an egg. He had no clue if that was good or bad.
• Worse, after he finished his Battle Techniques, the bug in him looked shinier, more alive. The killer part? The bug wouldn’t come out, and Lupine was helpless. No matter how Lewis tried to use the drop to squeeze it out, the damn thing stayed put. Lupine even curled on the floor, groaning in pain. With no other choice, Lewis shelved it for now. He’d wait for the right time to head into the Miao village and deal with it.
• Another problem: Lewis’s needs were getting stronger by the day. Winona was a hard no right now. Tess was flying all over the place with work. Thank god for Lupine, or Lewis might’ve gone hunting for trouble.
