Chapter 12 IVY

• A new day begins, and they both sit across from each other, enjoying a breakfast full of secrets. Both have something to hide, a secret that they want to take to their grave. And for that reason, no fighting is taking place, but only silence.
• “Today we are going out”, out of the blue, Ezra states, making Eve drop her knife and look up at him. “I’m sorry?”, she asks, feeling she misheard. “It’s time you meet the world around you, try to see how it works. I have business to attend to, and maybe it’s time you meet some of the people you will go to school with”, he says, putting a smile on her face.
• “I--I would love to!”, she jumps from happiness, which amuses him.
