Chapter 26

• “What?” he mumbles as he slowly opens his eyes, realizing he is not dead. He feels his body lighter and notices that the demon isn’t on top of him anymore. He slowly tries to stand up, trying to find out what’s going on. Silas comes to him limping, helping him up.
• “Why am I alive?” he asks him in shock.
• “This is your reason” he says, pointing with his index finger. Ezra’s eyes widen and his mouth drops from what he witnesses.
