Chapter 43

• He is riding into the night on Lucas, his familiar. His back hair is up, feeling  that something is off. He wishes he had a portal so he could just arrive in the mansion to make sure everything is alright. But, there are no portals in the Elder Council and now that he is coming back, there’s only darkness. 
• He is finally almost there, he has arrived but what he finds he won’t like. The mansion’s lights are down, no movement can be seen. As his feet land on the ground, he feels that his protection spell is gone. His eyes are wide open from the terror, noticing the open window on the first floor. 
• He runs and enters from the front door, rushing in to find what happened. “Diana!” he yells as he comes inside the cold mansion. The fire is out and the only thing that he can see is chaos.
