Chapter 20 Psychotic

• The junkie held behind bars started twitching violently as the withdrawal symptoms kicked in. He was so loaded with psychoactive substances that he couldn’t even put his words together to form a sentence.
• “I…need…the happy dust!” he screamed, banging his head on the iron rods. “Let….go. I…am hungry…hungry and so thirsty!” he hissed, shaking his whole body like a maniac.
• “He’s really got it bad. God only knows what he’s been taking all this time,” the junior officer whispered, taking pity on the junkie. “I wonder if he even has a family. We can’t keep him here like this.”
