Chapter 7 Impulsive Vow To An Enigmatic Husband

  • Marcus' eyes went frigid, and he exuded a strong oppressive sense. "What's your relationship?" The man stood up and hugged her hard. "What is our connection with you? I'm telling you, don't annoy us once more, because I will not let you go." After that, the man closed the door. Marcus glanced at the locked entrance, thinking about their recent acts in the room and the man's feelings for the lady. A powerful wave of revulsion rose in his heart. He might have developed excuses for her and deluded himself if he hadn't witnessed it firsthand. Even though he didn't want to accept it, he had to confess that his wife was in a relationship without another guy and that his cheating husband had misled him. He turned back, tossed the flowers in the garbage bin, and walked right into the elevator. Zack watched Marcus go through the peephole, anxiously touching his chest.
  • "Abby, do you recognize this guy?" Elizabeth shook her head vigorously and said, "That was terrifying! "So frightening!" "Shoot, Comelia should be returning from the supermarket beyond the neighborhood by now." They both raced out of the accommodations, and another vehicle arrived just in time. Cornelia, who was carrying vegetables and a recently acquired container of white wine, noticed them becoming upset. "What are you guys doing?" Zack looked at Cornelia and exhaled with relief as he discovered she was fine. "You did not encounter any unusual people, did you?" Cornelia seemed perplexed. "No, what's going on?" Zack pushed her inside the room and shut the door.
  • After glancing toward the peephole a second time, he stated, "A man just pounded on our door, and he appeared to be in difficulty. I honestly responded to his inquiries, but fortunately, I was attentive enough to steer him away. Abigail nodded eagerly. "Well, that guy was staring at him like he wanted to devour me alive. It's quite terrifying!" Good thing Zack reacted quickly." Cornelia hugged Abigail. "Our neighborhood is very populated, and I heard that thefts occurred a few days ago. We need to be more cautious from now on." Zack took out his phone. "I'm going to buy an observation system online and have it installed at the entrance. If you labor late, please phone me ahead of time, and I will pick you up below." Cornelia nodded. "Okay."
  • Abigail sighed. "It's a shame he's so good-looking." Cornelia and Zack both urged, "Miss, don't be distracted by a man's good looks." Abigail's mother said, "But that man appeared to be good-looking." Cornelia and Zack: "... Marcus got back inside the car and directed the driver to the Southern Summertime Garden. After a little over two hours of chauffeuring, they arrived late at the Southern Summertime Garden. The lights throughout the villa were nevertheless turned on. Marcus had not even stepped out of the automobile when he noticed the shaky figure walking through the yard. Granny Louisa saw his automobile enter the outdoor space and joyfully walked towards him, ignoring the butler's help. Marcus stepped out of the automobile and swiftly assisted Granny Luisa. "Granny? "Marc, where's Nelly?" Granny Luisa lowered her neck to peer around him into the car, but she didn't see the individual that she was looking for. Her eyes suddenly faded. "She did not come with you. What's the purpose of arriving alone?" "Granny, I came for a conversation with you concerning our relationship."
  • Marcus assisted Granny Luisa inside the home and instructed the butler to depart. Granny Luisa knew something seemed strange and was a little apprehensive. "Is Nelly unhappy at you and refuses to see you?" Should I call to explain things to her?" Marcus' gorgeously thin lips formed a chilly grin. "She has another man." "What? "What nonsense are you on about?" Granny Luisa tossed a cushion from her sofa at Marcus. "Nelly isn't the type of woman; she wouldn't ever do it. "Don't ruin her reputation." Marcus laughed coldly. "I saw it firsthand." Could it be fake?" Granny Luisa was startled to hear this. "Marc, Is there a miscommunication? Could I call and ask?" Marcus responded in a quiet voice. "I contacted her shortly after I got back to the countryside and heard a man's voice right beside her. I mistakenly assumed it was a misunderstanding. I went to her house today to pick her off and observed her and the man having an intimate moment. Do you believe this has been a miscommunication?
  • Nobody, including Marcus, will tolerate their partner cheating. Even though his commitment to Cornelia was not love-based, Granny Louisa knew he couldn't accept it. Granny Luis closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, her emotions had settled down. "What do you intend to do now?" Marcus said coldly: "Get a divorce." Granny Luisa didn't want to witness a divorce, but if the daughter already had someone she liked, what could they do? She went on, "Marc, I know you're furious right now, but maybe you can see things from Cornelia's perspective. A girl marries a man she has only met once in a flash, and her spouse vanishes shortly after the wedding. With no affection between a woman and her spouse, it is not inappropriate for a woman to be dating somebody acceptable at the moment." Marcus lifted his eyebrows. "So what?"
  • Then she suggested, "Why don't we wait for Sarah to initiate the separation rather than giving our relationship some dignity?" "Dignity?" Marcus removed his spectacles and carefully cleaned them. "Granny, if it hadn't been for you, I probably would have made the guy and woman disappear from Riverton. Do you continue to want me to offer them dignity? Did she think of providing me respect when she was interacting with another man??Granny Luisa sighed. "I met Nelly a handful of times before your wedding, and she's a wonderful girl. I knew you two would have been comfortable together, so I planned for you both to be together. I made an error. I should not have pressured you to marry simply because you were growing older. Otherwise, this would not have occurred. She was once a powerful and daring entrepreneur who overcame innumerable challenges and easily defeated even the most formidable opponents.
  • But now she saw herself apologizing to her own grandchild, all because of that little girl. Marcus was saddened, and the rage he had attempted to contain blazed out again. "Granny, no one is able to coerce me; therefore, no one is capable of betraying me." He had gone over a twenty-year span without meeting a female he liked, much alone considering falling in love. Grandma wanted him to get married, so he consented regardless of who he married. This marriage was not for love, although from the time they agreed on getting married, he was resolved to spend his entire existence pursuing that girl and never considered betraying her. So what about her? He never expected that when he arrived with a van full of gifts to go pick her up, she would be living with another guy. Granny Luisa understood him well and accepted the responsibility to protect the girl.
  • "Marc, I told Cornelia's grandmother that my grandson would take care of her granddaughter properly, so she consented to the marriage. I don't want to confront my old buddy in humiliation. Just guarantee them one additional opportunity, and I will not meddle with your future marital decisions." Marcus couldn't stand to watch his grandmother humble herself in front of him, so he grudgingly consented. "Fine, I'll let them keep her dignity." Granny Luisa hadn't really relaxed until Marcus called his private lawyer. "Help me establish a divorce agreement."
  • Granny Luisa says, "Marc, you..." She didn't really comprehend him. Marcus hung and then said, "Granny, please relax. I'm heading back to Riverton." Granny Luisa recognized for the very first time the fact that she had made a mistake as she observed his towering, lonely body. She didn't want her grandson's relationship to be similar to his parents', like a simple exchange of advantages. So she set him up with an innocent girl, expecting that their affections would be pure. However, she overlooked the reality that a successful marriage necessitates the existence of emotions.
