Chapter 37 Marking territories

• Xavier turned around slowly to face them, Aria rushed to him and placed her palm against his chest, and then looked into his eyes. Xavier felt goose pimples all over his skin, even though he was in a suit.
• “Xavier,” she called softly and her eyelashes flickered, “Please don’t go down this path, you will hurt yourself in the process. If you do this, you wont ever forgive yourself, believe me when I say that.” She whispered.
• Xavier stared at her silently for a minute and then he took a deep breath in and exhaled. “I know that, Aria… I know the implications of what I am doing, but that is how far I can go for the Kingstons. They are my whole world, I would never be an ingrate and put myself first. I understand the pain your in-laws are going through now, but that doesn’t mean they should do what they are doing. Locking up Mr. Kingston wouldn’t change anything for them, it wouldn’t take away that pain and give them relief.”
