Chapter 73

• I said good luck to Cassandra and then headed for the side of the house where Mia was working this week. Yesterday, I'd found her in the private gym and I wound up screwing her while she was suspended from the pull-up bar. Then, we finished up across some exercise mats. The day before, we tested out the media room. Movie theatre chairs were fine for sitting and watching, but they weren't very comfortable for sex. Not that that stopped her. Mia had been right. Once you got her started, she quickly became an insatiable nymphomaniac.
• Still, after a quick search, Mia was nowhere to be found. Puzzled, I headed for the media room and the game room and eventually to the guest bedrooms. No sign of her anywhere.
• Perhaps I had missed her. And so sighing with disappointment, I went to the stairs to the second floor. All of the main bedrooms were up there, including the Master, Cassandra's and Charlotte's rooms, and the future-designated nursery and children's rooms. At worst case, I could relax in the private lounge and watch TV, waiting for Taylor to come home. Or I might just track Cassandra down and remind her of her little vow to "assist" me in every way.
