Chapter 42 Knowing the truth

• It's been a week since Nolan was brought back and he had been recuperating faster than expected. He can now walk a distance on his own. I made sure I spent quality time with him just in case he needed anything. Bella, Nigel, and Ella were available too and they kept teasing me about how I had cried and refused to eat while he was away.
• Nolan teased me too. He claimed I was in love with him and wasn't ready to accept the hard truth. He said he was ready to wait until I pick up the courage to say it. Though he might not be able to wait for long. All I did was laugh. He might be right about me being in love with him. He might be right I wasn't ready to tell him how I feel. But that's because I wanted him to get well and return to be his usual self. I hate to see him confined to that bed. I hate to see him being supported before he could move. All I wanted for him was a quick recovery so we could go out to the mall again. So we could go to the cinema. So we could visit the amusement park again. So I am less bothered about what they had been saying all this while. I am extremely happy he came back home. Though he was hurt and I hated to see him in pain, it was a good thing he came back home. To me, that was all that mattered.
