Chapter 2 The ruthless alpha

• I stood by the window, watching the view in front of me. That has been my tradition every morning when I wake up. I go straight to the window to watch the garden, a few meters away from my packhouse. I love the way the morning glory flowers open every morning. It's proof of a beautiful morning. A little smile escaped my lips and I quickly concealed it. As if remembering something, I turned swiftly. What's so good about this morning?. Nothing!!. Not with the news I received yesterday. I groaned and went to seat on the couch. I should place a call to Martins. I need to know the update. If we are to attack or not. I stood up and went to pick my phone. My alarm rang and I groaned. Time to get prepared for school. I rolled my eyes. Did I say school? Time to prepare for work. I brushed my hair backward. Gosh, I need to go to school and at the same time, work calls. I groaned. It's been difficult keeping up with those two. I chuckled. I talk like they are humans right?. Well, they are like my parents. The ones who died some years ago. I blinked my eyes. I hate to remember that night they died. I... My phone rang and I sighed. I checked the caller and it was Martins. "Perfect timing," I thought
• I picked up the call. "Boss?"
• I sighed. "You just saved me from thinking"
• "I'm happy, I could help"
• I nodded. "What's the update?"
• "The Moon pack has refused to compile. I suggest we attack"
• I smiled. That's my boy. "And the Sunrise pack?"
• "Same"
• I nodded. "Good. Get ready. We attack by midnight"
• "Yes, boss"
• The call ended and I sighed. They want it hot, I will visit them tonight!!.

• I was seated in my room, going through some documents. It was the map that contains every hideout in the packs. We will be invading some packs this week. The moon pack is the pack we want to start with. I was going through the map when the door opened. My friend walked in. I quickly hide the papers. "Hey, No..." He stared at me and I smiled. "What are you hiding?"
• "Oh, mine. You are all dressed up?" I asked trying to change the topic
• He glared at me. "Don't try to change the topic, ok?"
• I scratched my head a bit. "I should go get ready for school"
• He furrowed his brows. "School?". I nodded.
• "Or do you have plans to miss school?"
• "I thought we have a meeting with Williams Plc?"
• I chuckled. "Well, I think I..."
• He hissed. "Just get ready and meet me downstairs"
• He walked out of the room and I chuckled. I should better get ready before he comes storming into my room like an angry lion

• I wore my mask and picked up my sword. I was dressed in black pants and a black shirt, with my black boots and coat. I love to dress in black when I'm going on a deadly mission. I call it the clothes for the mood. Making sure my mask was covering my face, I headed outside. It was past midnight. Four of my guards were already waiting for me. They bowed when they saw me. "Alpha, we are set for the mission"
• I nodded, though I wasn't interested in that. "Are other swords ready?"
• Arden, one of the guards bowed. "Yes, my lord"
• "Good". I looked around. Everywhere seems silent. We were in the middle of a thick forest, In one of my numerous warehouses. I sighed and gestured with my hands for them to move closer. "We should get going". They all bowed as I entered the car. We zoom off.

• The car stopped and I stepped out. Martins and twenty of my warriors were already in position, waiting. "You're here boss" Martin bowed.
• I smirked. "Of course I am. What's the update?"
• "Everyone of them is asleep"
• I groaned. "I don't want them asleep. We ain't killing them silently, ok?"
• "Boss, I thought..."
• "We wake them up. It's bad to kill them in their sleep"
• He bowed. "Yes, boss"
• I smiled. "Good"
• Silence returned as darkness overcome the area. You could hardly see what's beside you or in front of you. You can't tell what's behind you either. Thanks to my werewolf eyes, I was able to see clearly. I smiled. My dream is about to come true. I am about to show them why I am been called the ruthless Alpha!!. "Warriors, let's go now!! Kill every soul you see. But do not touch the women and children!!" I ordered. I might be ruthless but I still care about those beings. I see them as fragile beings.
• "Yes, Alpha" they answered
• "Alpha should we launch an attack from the ariel?" Martins asked
• I nodded. "Be at alert, every one of you!!"
• "Yes, Alpha
• We marched into the territory. They walked quietly, killing the guards at the gate. I hissed. "I don't want silent death!!"
• "Yes, boss" they chorused in unison.
• I smiled. "Good, Martin, you and your boys should go to the right"
• He bowed. "Yes, boss"
• I pointed at some warriors. "Arden, lead them to the left, and Max and the rest should go through the stalls"
• "Yes, boss"
• "I'll go forward"
• "Boss, just you alone?" Arden asked
• I smiled. "Yes. The Alpha of moon pack belongs to me"
• "You can't go alone. I will go with you" Martins said
• "I will go with you, too" Arden answered
• I narrowed my eyes. "You dare not question my order!!"
• "We are sorry, boss. We just want to be on a lookout for you" Martins answered
• I scoffed. "You should be on the lookout for yourself". I gestured with my hand. "Now go and don't let me repeat myself"
• They bowed. "Yes, boss"
• "Remember, end the life of every male you see". They nodded in agreement. I watched them go their separate ways, according to my order. I smiled and headed for the packhouse. Alpha Jordan, wait for my attack!!.

• As I walked past some places, I could see dead bodies. Women were crying as well as children. They were mourning their dead, I guess. I looked away before I get moved by their wailings. The packhouse was just a few distances away from me. I could see Jordan outside the packhouse with a few warriors. I stood in front of him. "Good to see you, Alpha Jordan". He stared at me but said nothing. I could see fear in his eyes but he tries to hide it as much as he can. "As dog finally cut off your tongue?"
• "Alpha..."
• "You don't even know my name?. I will help you. You can call me the ruthless Alpha"
• He moved back a bit. "You... You are the ruthless Alpha?"
• "Yes, I am"
• He fell on his knees and the rest followed. "I... I... I never knew you are the..."
• "The ruthless Alpha. Well now you know"
• "I am so sorry, Alpha"
• "I know you are. But it's just too late". He made to say something but I shush him up. "Say your last prayer". I raised the sword and sliced it through his throat. Blood splashed and I groaned. I pulled out a piece of cloth from my pocket and wiped the blood away. I stared at the rest. "Sorry, you did not do anything to me though but I can't spare your lives". I killed them one after the other and turned. "Martins, gather the survivors. I need to have a word with them"
• Martins walked closer and bowed. "Yes, boss".
• A few minutes later, they were all gathered together. I looked at their faces. "Today, I have become your new Alpha. Whoever goes against my order will be tortured severely"
• "Yes, Alpha" they answered in a trembling voice.
• I smirked. I love to see people fear me. I love it when they dare not go against my orders. They say I am cold-hearted and brutal. But I call myself ruthless. Yes, I am the ruthless Alpha!!.
