Chapter 43 Selene

• I watched Drystan walk out of the packhouse, the moment he was gone, I turned on my heels and ran home through the backdoor. I don't know why I had lied to him that I wanted to meet up with Clarissa, or the reason I didn't want him to drop me off.
• But none of that mattered to me anymore, I just wanted to get home and digress the information I got last night. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night, I spent the entirety of the night tossing around in my bed till daybreak. I should be relieved with the information I got regarding who the moon goddess's beloved was, but the information made me more apprehensive than I was earlier.
