• My eyes were fixed on Selene who for some reason has been acting weird since morning. She's been avoiding me, barely said a few words to me and even tho we were left alone in Derrick's office, anxiously waiting for him, she hasn't even said a word to me.
• "Selene, are you okay?" I asked after a while. I couldn't stand the silence and awkwardness anymore, she turned to me and smiled, but even a blind person could see the force behind the smile, and how fake it was.
