• "What do you mean, Elphaba?" I asked and she walked over to the couch and sat down beside me, then placed the book back in my hand.
• "I think without your wolf, you fail to realize you will soon be the Luna to a pack and that before you let your emotions get the best of you." She paused and placed two fingers on my forehead, "you ought to think first!" She said and then removed her fingers.
• I frowned and rolled my eyes at her, "I know, Elphaba, but some things just don't make sense!" I exclaimed, and opened to the page I was previously reading, "I mean, what on Earth do they mean by..." She immediately cut me off by grabbing my jaw softly and slowly raised my head to meet her eyes.
