Chapter 60 The Reunion

• It had been months now since Alex and Ann had separated and both of them were both miserable. The pain of being apart from each other was very unbearable, but love didn't seem to be enough to bridge the depth that had formed between them.
• Alex picked up his phone, scrolling through videos and pictures of Ann, each image reminded him of her, the time they had spent together, the way she made him feel with her tender touch, their day filled with laughter and happiness but sadly it felt like a lifetime ago. How had they ended up here, so close but can't reach each other? Alex’s phone buzzed on the table, pulling him out of his thoughts. He looked down, hoping against hope that it was Ann. But when he saw it was just another work email, he let out a frustrated sigh and tossed the phone aside.
