Chapter 3 All Souls Day

  • Before, I often get jealous when he's around those busty and still-walk 'looking like' girls but as times goes by, I just got used to it. I'm just relieving myself because more than those hoes I'm ahead of few baths.
  • He and dad continued to talk after their chess game. Daddy looks defeated. What favor would he do for Erato again? They always do that.
  • Erato looks more like Daddy's son than my brother Jax. Jax’s interested with business. Dad wants someone who will take after his legacy.
  • Being the Mayor of the City is not Jax’s thing. He was happy to settle down in silence and peace as he lay down on the money he was earning.
  • While his one and only unica hija is currently minding her own business. My business? It's my Erato, of course.
  • I stretched my hands out acting as if I'm getting a hold of him.
  • A person like him cannot be controlled by anyone, not even his own family.
  • His parents are into business and they are the top in the elite business world.
  • Their surname is on the list of the richest family in the whole country. The youngest in the family, but still expected to be the successor. He did not allow that. Instead, he took up Pol. Sci. because that's what he wanted.
  • How ironic, didn’t like to be controlled anyone but had taken a law inclined.
  • For me, it's okay. Even if he becomes president of the Philippines, I'll always be the first one to cheer him up.
  • When I was young I knew that his types were what I wanted. Or maybe it didn't start like that because he was the only one I could see. I set my standards too high and that standard is him. I've never looked into someone the way I looked at him. I never laid eyes on anyone, except him.
  • "I'll make you mine, Erato. If I need to be down on my knees, I'll gladly do so."
  • I said acting as if I'm touching him. My wicked eyes are locked on him when his head turned on my direction. I quickly lowered my hand and adjusted on my position.
  • His eyes are dangerously looking at me, I can't read if he's disgusted with me again or he's just curious why I'm staring.
  • I smirked and tilted my head lightly. I was still not satisfied because I stood still and leaned on the railing, causing the cleavage of my boobs to form and flaunt on his sight.
  • It's not as big and bulky as the women you've bedded with but what do I care?
  • Go on Erato, take a look at me. This will be your morning view once you marry me.
  • I saw his jaw moved in dangerous way. He stroked his jaw and avoided looking at me. I waited for him to look at me again and he did! But this time that didn’t last, dad and me look back and forth.
  • I sniffed and settled down.
  • I suppressed smiles and combed my hair with my hand. I wanted to think that he was attracted to me but I was surprised when dad suddenly turned in my direction and I quickly fixed my self and smiled decently as if I couldn't break a plate. I even waved my palms and winked.
  • Daddy smiled and waved as well. After that, they proceed to talk again. I was thrown into the air. What a snitch!
  • I pushed myself away from my terrace, stamping my feet loudly in the whole house because of embarrassment and frustration.
  • Does he not think of me as beautiful ans attractive? Even just a little? Even if he just pretends, isn't that possible?
  • I hung out in the living area and ordered the maid to get me a glass of juice. I sat here because I'm able to see him in another angle with a great view.
  • Through the glass door I looked at him. He's wearing a simple loose black shirt and a faded jeans. He can even wear a trash bag and still manage to look expensive.
  • But maybe more handsome when he’s wearing nothing?
  • hmmm.
  • "Hey-hey, wait!"
  • I stopped the maid who brought me juice. I realized that she's that maid who brought the snacks to Erato. You seem to be sprinkled with salt and your eyes are almost fixed while talking to Erato.
  • "Yes, ma'am?"
  • Her sweet smile made me even more irritated. I'm always in a good terms with people around me. I do have a lot of friends maybe because of my father's reputation. I can’t have an enemy because that would all reflect on daddy’s public figure.
  • And besides, I'm not a bad person in the first place. I can be the nicest person in the room but I can also be the nicest person to leave you in the room even if you are dying.
  • "You're new here?"
  • "Yes ma'am."
  • I didn't answer first and just stared at her. I let her think what I thought of her.
  • “I see ... "
  • She smiled and I reciprocated it with mine too. At the side of my eye I saw someone entered the main door of the house. I quickly adjusted.
  • "All right, go away."
  • "Hey,"
  • It's my older brother Jax. I looked back and forth at the maid I had dismissed before looking back at my older brother.
  • He's wearing a button down dress shirt. The form is still very formal and it looks like he came back from his inexhaustible business meetings.
  • I timidly smile and hugged him. He kissed my forehead. I kind of miss him but I can't let go of my annoyed composure towards that maid.
  • "Is it good Friday? What’s with the face?"
  • His eyes narrowed at me, I just stared at him.
  • "Where's dad?"
  • I just sat on the sofa and lazily nodded in dad's direction.
  • "That's why, your face is looking all souls day."
