• Panic set in as I thought of her being among the vampires killed by these hunters, but as I checked all the bodies, she was not among and there was no trace of her scent.
• I guess she left even before the fight, but why would she do that when I thought she would help the other vampires to neutralize the hunters?
• Then I saw how all the vampires were dead and realized she really made the right decision by leaving because I would also be mourning her now. That poisonous smoke would have also weakened her, and she would get killed.
