Chapter 17 Pregnancy

• My eyes fluttered open, vision blurred at first, but as I blinked continuously, it cleared up, and I was able to see my surroundings.
• The smell of medicine hung in the air, and I could hear the distant beep of a machine with several footsteps hitting the tiled floor.
• My eyes roamed around, and I was able to tell I had been admitted to a hospital as the white walls stared back at me, forcing me to wonder what brought me here.
