• “BANG BANG BANG!” Came the loud knocking on the wooden door, jolting Kimberly awake from her deep slumber.
• Warm rays of sunlight pierced through the slightly opened small window. She stirred, realizing it was now the dawn of another day. As she sat up, her bones creaked softly, reminding her of her prolonged rest.
• Groggily, she swung her legs over the side of the bed, planting them firmly on the ground. Rubbing the sleep of her eyes, she stumbled to the door, her annoyance brewing with each step.
