Chapter 134 The Torture

  • The air was thick with the stench of sweat, blood, and despair. Nicholas and Levi hung limply from the cold stone walls, their bodies battered and bruised. The flickering torches cast eerie shadows on the walls, making it seem as though the very darkness itself was closing in on them.
  • Nicholas's eyes, once filled with an aura that commanded respect, now seemed dull and lifeless. His body was covered in lacerations, his skin torn and bleeding. He could feel a searing pain at two points in his back, it felt like they were two giant needles embedded in his skin. Levi, on the other hand, seemed to be in slightly better shape, but his eyes told a different story. They were sunken, his gaze weary from the pain and exhaustion.
  • The sound of footsteps echoed through the dungeon, growing louder with each passing moment. The atmosphere seemed to grow colder, the air thickening with an ominous presence. Rebecca descended the stairs, her eyes gleaming with a malevolent intensity.
