Chapter 125 The Drive

  • The next morning. The rise of the dawn cast shimmering rays of sunshine upon the mansion’s facade. The day started like any other, with the early routine of the pack members training all together in the training ground. The sounds of their synchronized movements and growls carried through the air.
  • Kimberly stirred awake on the bed. Her eyes flickered open to find Nicholas's spot by her side, empty. It was an awful habit of his. A habit Kimberly had grown accustomed to, although it didn't help her unease. But, she reminded and reassured herself that he was likely attending to pressing matters, as his role as the Pack Alpha forever beckoning.
  • Recalling the events of last night, a sheepish smile spread across her face, the hairs on her skin standing in goosebumps. As usual, Nicholas had given her a night of mind-blowing and indescribable pleasure. The last one always better than the previous. That was when her eyes fell upon a pen-written note on the bedside table, bearing Nicholas’s familiar writing.
