Chapter 104 "Dinner Is Ready"

• The warm water enveloped Kimberly like a soothing balm, calming her frazzled nerves as she submerged herself in the bathtub. The scent of lavender and chamomile wafted up, mingling with the soap suds, and she let out a deep sigh. This was her sanctuary, her haven from the chaos that had been swirling around her.
• As she lay there in the bathtub, her head underwater, Kimberly's mind began to wander. Thoughts of Fiona, of Nicholas, of Levi, and of the mysterious forces that seemed to be driving them all towards some unknown destiny, swirled through her brain like a maelstrom.
