- In the hallway, Roxy paced back and forth, grappling with the urge to leave and the need to stay, when her inner voice, her guiding intuition, interrupted her thoughts. "You promised not to flee, to stay because he deserves it." Engaged in a mental battle, Roxy countered, "But he intentionally lied." "Did he?
