Chapter 30
- Roxy wake up feeling exceptional, with no evidence of being intoxicated yesterday; she is grateful for that since it's the beginning of the week. Roxy recollects all the events of this weekend. From Andrew's expression when he first laid eyes on her, to their flirtatious banter in the elevator, to that incredibly delicious dinner, their intense, erotically sensual trip to the Catacombs, their noisy cab ride, Roxy's distressing shower, Andrew's sheltering arms, his impeccable strength as he relocated her to the bedroom, the undeniable protection Roxy felt as she slept in his arms, to an eye-opening breakfast, working in unison, in close proximity causing Roxy's body to become unhinged again, Andrew's execution of their savory, awe-inspired lunch, to his tantalizing, affectionate kiss and placement of her hand, to his passionately expressed words of desire, and finally, to their girls' night, with overwhelming, shocking information. It's been a tumultuous weekend.
- So much has happened, moments Roxy can't reclaim. It's all been overwhelmingly intense, but she's grateful it's over. Nothing left but to move forward from here. Now, to prime herself for work. Roxy rummages through her closet and finds an alluring green dress that comes just below the knee, has a deep V-cut in the neckline, is tapered at the waist, and she pairs it with her black and gold-strap heels.
- Roxy grab her monstrous purse with laptop and she vacates her apartment. Glancing at the time, Roxy is alarmed to discern that she has allowed time to slip by today. Damn it!
