• Two weeks couldn't have gone by as quick as they did with Ayla's constant company. She had resumed work and was doing well assisting Randolf in the finance department. Roman had managed to stay away from her, and so did my mother and Danica. We had gone back to the mansion but kept our interactions on the low. Danica had managed to lie to my mother about her boyfriend by the look of things.
• "Remember that we are heading out early to go prepare for our flight tomorrow," I reminded Ayla, who was busy behind her computer, scrunching her face as she stared at the screen.
