  • Three days had gone by since Ayla's miscarriage, and still we didn't have evidence. I kept on pushing Ayla to get the tests done, but it was like she had given up already. Something about Marise's behaviour was rubbing me the wrong way, and I truly felt that she knew something had been put in the food. All she needed was a little coercion to spit the truth, so if Ayla would remain adamant about being tested, then I would turn my attention to the nanny.
